Milo

Milo went missing from Wareside cattery on 5th August. He managed to escape from his carrier as he was being taken into the cattery.

He may be trying to get to his home in Much Hadham Road, about 5 miles away from the cattery. He has a very distinctive swirl stripe on his coat.

If you have any information about Milo, please contact 07920 022 985 or Cats Whiskers Rescue.

Transporters needed

Could you help us transport cats to the vet or their new homes? We urgently require drivers who can give their time to this essential part of our work.

Some of our fosterers are unable to drive, so we need drivers who can carry out this task. Transporters get to meet our lovely cats and our fabulous fosterers. Transporting is on an as-when-needed basis.

We also need volunteers who could trap stray and feral cats. Full training is given – it’s not complicated at all. Put food in trap, sit and wait. Patience is the main requirement ( and a thermos of tea. )

Please contact us about the roles available in Cats Whiskers Rescue.

Sasha

We urgently need a long-term fosterer for the lovely Sasha. She is a 16 year old cat, affectionate and gentle. She likes to spend the day sleeping in a sunny spot. As a senior kitty it is unlikely that she will be adopted.

Fostering is hugely rewarding, giving cats that would not otherwise be adopted a loving home.

Could you foster Sasha? All expenses are paid: food, litter, and approved vet bills. You will be supported by our group of experienced volunteers.

Please contact us to give Sasha a forever home.

Florence

HAPPY NEWS: FLORENCE HAS BEEN HOMED.

Florence is a loving, friendly and playful 10 year old cat.

She likes to sit on laps, being brushed, having her belly tickled and chasing string. Florence is very much loved; her owners are sadly giving her away as they are moving to accomodation that does not allow pets.

Florence would like a new home with a garden. She would like a family that can give her lots of cuddles and play with her.

Florence is a direct rehome.

Milo

HAPPY NEWS: MILO HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Milo is an affectionate 4 year old cat. He is a little shy with strangers, but once he knows you he loves to sit on your lap and be stroked. He loves to be around his humans and even likes to sleep in his fosterer’s arms.

When he was neutered a small heart murmur was detected, however, this was undetectable during the two health checks at his vaccinations.

Milo can be quite energetic when playing. He would thrive in a home with another young cat who loves to play as much as he does!

Rosie & Toby

HAPPY NEWS: ROSIE & TOBY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.

Rosie & Toby are beautiful siblings, approximately 4-5 months old, who need to be rehomed together.

They have been used to living outside so will need a little time to adjust to a new home.

Toby and Rosie are very affectionate and love to be stroked. They are still a little wary and will need a quiet space of their own at first. They require a family prepared to give them the time to adjust and make friends at their own pace.

They are a gorgeous pair and have become used to a family setting with their fosterer.

Prince

HAPPY NEWS: PRINCE HAS BEEN HOMED.

Prince is a gentle, loving cat. He is approximately 7 – 10 years of age.

Prince is a very friendly cat with a lovely temperament. He is content around other cats.

Prince was found wandering the streets of Stevenage. He was taken in by a local vet, and has been looked after by them for the last month. Everyone who meets Prince falls in love with him as he is such a nice cat.

If you could give Prince a forever home, please contact Walton Lodge Vet, Hoddesdon.
