Young mum Nala (18 months) and her daughter Chrissie (7 months) are a lovely bonded pair who came to their foster family very scared and mistrusting of people. Over the past 6 weeks they have become more confident and have grown into playful little cats who like to be where their fosterers are in the house, following them around or sitting nearby and asking for head rubs and strokes. Such an amazing and heart-warming transformation!
Nala has her front left paw missing but don’t let her fool you, she is still quick on her feet! Whilst not much more than a kitten herself, Nala is a loving mum and enjoys nothing more than a snuggle up with Chrissie. Chrissie is more reticent but is taking her lead in trusting people from her mum and explores the house confidently, usually with her favourite toy mouse in her mouth. She will also let you know when she’s hungry by going to sit by the cat food cupboard or by her bowl. If Nala wants something she will let you know vocally! She makes a delightful trilling sound.
Although both cats have been inside for all their lives so far, they would benefit from access to a secure garden/safe outside space to explore once they have settled in.
Technical bits: Nala and Chrissie are vaccinated and will be neutered and microchipped before homing. They will go home with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
