Patch is now being cared for by one of our long-term fosterers
Patch is a very friendly boy found straying in a garden, clearly having fallen on hard times and needing help. We think he is around 10 years old. Although initially very scared, he settled in once he knew that he was safe, becoming much more confident. He has not shown any inclination to wander, absolutely loves his food and is simply no trouble. He has now found out that a lap is very nice and warm and is happy to be placed there and he loves a stroke.
We are seeking a warm-hearted and compassionate person/family with a love of older cats to become the long-term fosterer of dear Patch. He is FIV positive and life has dealt him a few blows. He is blind in one eye but manages well, and due to a spinal injury struggles to jump off high places.
We are looking for a quiet indoor home with no other cats. Looking after an older cat like Patch can be incredibly rewarding and we will be on hand to provide support and advice at any time. Should he need further veterinary treatment, this will be paid for by The Cats Whiskers at one of our registered veterinary practices.
Technical Bits: Patch is neutered, microchipped and first vaccinated.
All this loveable character really needs is someone to care for and love him so please email us if you feel you can help.
