Meet Raphael, a very sweet-natured cat with a big personality. He is a large white and black boy (approximately 5 years old) who is initially quite timid, but once he knows you better, absolutely adores being the centre of attention. So long as you have got endless strokes to offer (he loves being brushed) he’s happy, although he occasionally gets impatient and gives you a bop if you’re not paying attention! He eats rather too well, enjoys the odd game, and loves the windowsill, gazing at the view during the day. At night he moves in for plenty of cuddles! This cheeky boy has even tried to get in his fosterer’s bed!
Raphael is currently being fostered with Pavlova with whom he was rescued. As a pair, they are only loosely bonded and Raphael can be a little bossy so Pavlova tends to keep out his way. Raphael can even get jealous if you stroke Pavlova too much and not him! However, they do choose to be in the same room and they do eat together. As they cohabit well, they can be adopted as a pair.
Raphael will need access to a garden/ safe outside space once he is fully settled in. No young children please and no other cats (excluding Pavlova) to compete for attention. Given time to relax and settle in, we think he will be a great companion cat.
