Sonia is a lovely, playful but very shy 6 month-old kitten with a rather adorable quizzical expression. She is a wonderfully curious cat that loves affection when she feels safe and that is usually when she is up in a higher position to be more level with you. She appreciates face scratches in particular and has a lovely purr!
Whilst she is still very timid and skittish, having grown up feral and with little to no human interaction, she has come a long way since being with her foster family. She is feeling more relaxed with loud or unexpected noises and is learning the joy of being cuddled. Her foster says “You will see her most happy and expressive around feeding time when she will typically give the cutest little mews and beam in excitement at you”.
If you are considering adopting Sonia, be aware that it may take her some time to become a fully comfortable and relaxed in a home environment. So we are looking for kind, patient adopters who are willing to give her the time and space she needs to become familiar with her new home and comfortable enough to show all the love she has to give (which is plenty!). Giving her the gift of patience will make her feel safe with you and will result in the greatest reward a cat can ever give. She will become your friend!
Sonia will need access to a garden/secure outdoor space once she has had time to fully settle in.
Technical bits: Sonia has been neutered, microchipped and first-vaccinated. She will go home with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
