We have now found a long-term fosterer for Tish
Would you consider being the long-term foster carer for Tish? This dear lady is 16–17-years-old and is urgently in need of a special person to look after her in her retirement. She is a Blue Longhair, and as such, is a beautiful grey-blue colour and very fluffy with lovely green eyes. Sadly, due to a change in personal circumstances, her owner, who has had her for almost all her life, can no longer look after her.
Tish is a very sweet, gentle little thing who is affectionate and readily accepts strokes and can be picked up. She may well even choose to sleep on your bed with you. She may be deaf but she manages very well, is still fairly sprightly and is good with the litter tray.
If you have not helped a golden oldie before, please do consider it as they can be the most wonderful and loyal companions. Providing an older cat with a safe and loving retirement home can be the most rewarding experience. Tish comes from a quiet household, but likes company, so we think she may suit someone who works from home or an older person who is home at least part of the time. She currently lives as an indoor cat.
Technical bits: Tish will be microchipped and vaccinated. Should she need veterinary treatment, this will be paid for by The Cats Whiskers at one of our registered vet practices. We will be on hand to provide support and advice at any time.
