Bobby and Beatrice

Now adopted 🙂

Bobby (male) and Beatrice (female) are another pair of super cute kittens approximately 10-14 weeks old. Like all kittens they love some rough and tumble with each other, are affectionate and love their humans. (Some say, Bobby resembles a certain crime fighter?)

Beatrice and Batman

If you think you would could give these two a home, please contact our adoption coordinator Ros Pegorini: rosannapegorini@hotmail.com or download the adoption form.

Buster

HAPPY NEWS: BUSTER HAS RETURNED HOME.

Buster went missing in Hunsdon on 13th February. He is a mackerel tabby with white bib. He is very shy and nervous. He may be hiding somewhere, so please check sheds, garages and outbuildings.

If you have any information about Buster, please contact Cats Whiskers immediately.

Holly

Holly is a very affectionate, gentle 13 year old cat. She loves to sit on her fosterer’s lap for head nuzzles.

Holly is relaxed around other quiet adult cats and well- behaved dogs, and has settled in well with our fosterer’s other pets. Holly would not be content with boisterous puppies or lively kittens and young cats.

Holly is also happy around older children who can respect her need for a quiet nap.

Holly is on medication for high blood pressure. Without her tablets she loses her sight. Whoever adopts Holly must be responsible for ensuring that Holly takes her medication. Cats Whiskers Rescue is happy to help and advise to ensure that Holly continues with her treatment for high blood pressure to avert sight loss.

If you would like more information about lap-cat Holly, please contact our adoption co-ordinator Ros Pegorini: rosannapegorini@hotmail.com

FOUR WEEKS FREE PET INSURANCE FOR REUNITED PETS

‘Have you been reunited with your pet?’

We appreciate how distressing it is when a pet goes missing. Every possible outcome runs through our minds. What if they had been stolen, suffered an injury, been involved in an RTA or became ill.

Losing your pet is terrifying, and it really brings home how much they mean to us, and how lost we would be without them. Now that they’re home safe and sound, you’re probably thinking about protecting them, more than ever.

Click on this link https://www.agriapet.co.uk/106859 to get 4 weeks free pet insurance from Agria Pet Insurance. The 4 weeks free insurance is for dogs, cats and rabbits who are between the ages of 8 weeks and 5 years and who do not have an insurance policy. If you continue on to a full lifetime policy we will get a donation to help us continue our vital work in reuniting pets with their owners.

Rosie & Toby

HAPPY NEWS: ROSIE & TOBY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.

Rosie & Toby are beautiful siblings, approximately 4-5 months old, who need to be rehomed together.

They have been used to living outside so will need a little time to adjust to a new home.

Toby and Rosie are very affectionate and love to be stroked. They are still a little wary and will need a quiet space of their own at first. They require a family prepared to give them the time to adjust and make friends at their own pace.

They are a gorgeous pair and have become used to a family setting with their fosterer.

Support Adoption for Pets Update

You may have seen on our website and on our social media channels the exciting rebrand of Support Adoption For Pets into ‘The Pets at Home Foundation.’

Since 2006 we have supported rescues across the country with over £24 million through our grant funding and our Charity of the Year partnerships.

Rescue and rehoming will remain at the very heart of our charity, but the great news is we will now also support charities who help people through pets.

If you would like to find out more about the types of organisations that we will be working alongside please visit www.petsathomefoundation.co.uk.

Charity of the Year will remain the same for this year, as we recognise that the last year has been a very difficult one for everyone, not in the least for our rescues across the country and therefore we recognise that this support is vital to your rescues and the work you do. 2022, however, will see some changes to this scheme so watch this space for further information.

I am sure you will all agree that this is an exciting change for our charity and we are dedicated in continuing to help pets and the people who love them.
