We thought you would all like an update on Midnight, the poor little kitten who came to us with a suspected broken spine. We were all terribly worried about her future, but the past few months have resulted in a transformation of fortunes.
It transpired that the initial nerve damage came from an injury to the discs at the base of her spine, and with the dedicated care of her fosterers and close veterinary attention, Midnight has made a quite remarkable recovery. She still has a lump as the base of her spine, but as her confidence has grown and with plenty of stimulation from living in a home environment, she has gone from not being able to walk to now moving around almost like a normal cat! It is fantastic to see her flourishing and a delight to see her playing.
Thank you so very much to everybody who donated to her fundraiser to help with the costs of her treatment and recovery. We really could not do this without your support. Every cat deserves a chance, and Midnight now has a much brighter future ahead of her because of the work of our volunteer fosterers and supporters of our charity.
