Charlie is a lucky boy. He was taken in by a lovely couple having appeared in their garden in a pitiful state – injured, with matted hair which was riddled with fleas and severely underweight. They would have kept him, but unfortunately their own cat had other ideas, so by early November last year he was taken in to foster care.
With loving care from his foster family, Charlie has since slowly regained a full 1kg and is now a healthy weight. He has also recovered from a much-needed dental. The vet estimates he is approximately 7-8 years old, but has diagnosed kidney issues meaning that Charlie will require a renal diet together with long-term monitoring (full details will be given upon application).
Charlie is a very sweet-natured, gentle soul with lots of ginger fluff and the loudest purr! His fosterer says that he really is one of the loveliest foster cats they have had. He is definitely a people cat, loves company, strokes and fuss and immediately sits on your knees, but he is also happy relaxing in his box or on the bed.
He needs a calm house and, as he has not attempted to get outside, he might be happy with an indoor life. As Charlie does still has plenty of play in him, however, he might well appreciate a sunny garden to lounge in if offered.
Charlie is microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. Charlie will go home with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
