Nuggie is a petite 2-year-old girl and already a mum twice over, who has blossomed whilst being in foster care. She was very frightened when she first came to us, so it is a delight to see that her confidence has grown. Although initially shy with new people, once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate, loves rubbing around your legs and coming over for strokes and head rubs when you call her. She has started to follow her fosterer around and has even jumped on the bed a couple of times! With a little encouragement, she has discovered the delights of chasing a wand toy and her laser chaser, both of which she loves.
Nuggie will need a quiet, peaceful home with no young children. We feel that she would benefit from having someone home for at least part of the day as she is a companionable little soul. She will need someone with a patient, gentle approach to continue to build her confidence. She would enjoy access to a secure garden or safe outdoor space once she has settled in.
Technical bits: Nuggie is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. She will go home with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

UPDATE 30/10/25 Great progress! Nuggie has developed a very special relationship with her fosterer who says that she now likes to sit on her lap some evenings. She is still wary of others but is learning to be a little more relaxed around other people.
