Oberon

HAPPY NEWS: OBERON HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Oberon is a wonderful 16 year old cat, very cuddly and gentle. He has lived all of his life with an elderly gentleman who lived alone and didn’t have many visitors. However, Oberon adores company and is the sweetest, calmest cat.

He is an indoor cat and fully house-trained. He would be happiest as the only pet in an adults-only home. He needs a very quiet, calm environment. Oberon is an excellent companion and is ready to love anyone who can give him lots of time and cuddles.

He is neutered and has had his injections and worming. Could you give this gentle cat a loving home? Please contact our adoption co-ordinator Ros Pegorini: rosannapegorini@hotmail.com

Teresa

HAPPY NEWS: TERESA HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Teresa is a very friendly young cat, approximately 3 to 4 years of age. She absolutely loves being cuddled.

Teresa is relaxed around other cats. She was found as a stray, so really appreciates a warm lap and a safe place to sleep. She would like a space of her own in which to settle, and perhaps a catio.

Teresa has been spayed and chipped. If you would like more information about Teresa, please contact our adoption co-ordinator Ros Pegorini: rosannapegorini@hotmail.com

Holly

Holly is a very affectionate, gentle 13 year old cat. She loves to sit on her fosterer’s lap for head nuzzles.

Holly is relaxed around other quiet adult cats and well- behaved dogs, and has settled in well with our fosterer’s other pets. Holly would not be content with boisterous puppies or lively kittens and young cats.

Holly is also happy around older children who can respect her need for a quiet nap.

Holly is on medication for high blood pressure. Without her tablets she loses her sight. Whoever adopts Holly must be responsible for ensuring that Holly takes her medication. Cats Whiskers Rescue is happy to help and advise to ensure that Holly continues with her treatment for high blood pressure to avert sight loss.

Wesley

HAPPY NEWS: WESLEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Wesley is a young cat, 2 years of age. He is very friendly and affectionate and thrives in company. He was raised as a housecat but would benefit from having a home with a garden. He likes to play and run around, so needs space for his physical and emotional well-being.

He requires an adult family that can devote time to his needs. He is friendly but can suddenly change as he is scared of strange noises and people. He likes to be in constant contact with his family, sleeping in the same bedroom or sharing a sofa during the day.

Wesley requires a family that is experienced with cats as they will need to help him through his triggers and help him with his stress behaviour. Wesley is a lovely cat in need of a very quiet, nurturing environment.

Wesley has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He would need a home with no children or other pets. He prefers female human company.

Their mother and brother, Callie and Felix, are also available for adoption.

The kittens are very lively and need families that can offer them a lot of interaction. They will need play, cuddles, and space to explore.

They need families that have experience of very lively cats. They would not be happy in a home with young children. The new family must be responsible for having them spayed/neutered at the appropriate age.

Callie & Felix

HAPPY NEWS: FELIX HAS BEEN RESERVED.

Felix

Callie and Felix are mother and son who are to be homed together. Callie is a young cat, 1 to 2 years of age, and still very kittenish. Felix was born in October and is a sweet little boy.

Callie and Felix are particularly fond of each other and complement each other’s personalities. Callie is very lively and will need a family that can entertain her with lots of play. After 12 weeks indoors raising her brood she is ready to run around a garden and chase leaves. Felix is utterly adorable; he loves to explore and have head nuzzles.

Adopting a Cat

Chakra

HAPPY NEWS: CHAKRA HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Chakra is a young female cat, approximately 2 – 3 years of age. She is a typical Bengal: physically energetic and intellectualy curious.

Before coming to us she had been kept as a breeding cat so needs some TLC ( she is now spayed. ) She was a little timid at first, but now loves head nuzzles and chatting with her fosterer. She doesn’t like being picked up though – she’s the boss!

Chakra needs a family that can devote a lot of time to keeping her physically and mentally entertained. She needs a house with a very secure outdoor space as Bengals love to roam, and the family must be responsible for not leaving her outside unattended. Chakra would be happiest in a calm, nurturing home with no young children or other pets.

Tim & Tam

HAPPY NEWS: TIM & TAM HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.

Tim and Tam are 6 month old brother and sister. They are quite shy and nervous, but are used to living in our fosterer’s busy family home.

Tim

They are happy kittens, spending most of their time playing and snoozing together. They are relaxed around humans but they don’t like being stroked. They need a family that can spend a lot of time with them, getting them used to being stroked and accepting physical affection. Alternatively, they might be happy on a farm as stable cats.

Tam
